D&D 5E First World: Possibly One of the New D&D setting?

It’s certainly possible. But what’s the draw? What’s unique about it? From the descriptions it’s literally the kitchen sink all other kitchen sinks came from.
From what little they've revealed so far, it sounds very high-magic and high-powered. Playground/workshop of the gods, pre-dating many modern races, much chaos and war.

It could make a very effective high-level/epic-level setting.

What would be unique about it is no planes. Where do, for example, demons, fit in a world with no abyss? Where do fae fit in a world with no faewild? Where do elementals fit in a world with no elemental planes? It’d be a very different setup than your standard D&D fare.

Gaming is fun, and fun is for everyone
The mythic golden age, when elves and other races weren't ancient, but were new and the the laws of magic, etc., were just being decided.

Be there when Gruumsh had his eye put out (maybe you're the elf who actually does it?). Be there when the cavern comes down on Kurtulmak. Work the forge when the first souls are being blown into dwarves.

See: The Dawnforge and Morningstar 3E settings.

Sounds a lot like Age of Sigmar too.

If they used it as a vehicle for reviving the old immortal rules, I could see that.

Sure. But what does that matter? It’s a conceit that’s unnecessary. You don’t have to have an abyss for demons nor planes for elementals. That’s spinning wheels answering questions that don’t really matter.

it's explicitly called out as destroyed

Well the first world does necessarily mean no planes. It could just mean the first Prime material plane / world. It is entirely possible that the outer or even inner planes still existed, but since everything suggests dragons are being tied more prominently to the prime in this book it seams they first world is likely tied to the prime as well. I think it is likely other planes exist (just like the Dawn War) and it is the nascent Prime plane that is being discussed

and thus the terrible meme template retunes to the living lands.

I would hope for something utterly crazy and awesome.

Other option could be a new setting based in "shards" or fragments of the First World, a patchwork demiplane within the elemental limbo, adding a lot of thigs from "Councyl of Wyrms" and some pieces of Mystara Hollow World spin-off. This could add enough space and "hunt territory" for all dragon species and even future new kaiju monsters.

Time travel is canonilally possible in D&D but they are extremely rare because the cosmology could be too easily altered. If WotC wants to recover the chronomancers then they will need a lot of time and work to understand how the future metaplot could be affected.

Other possibility is a "akasha realm", not the original world but a "clone demiplane", like a cosmic backup within the space-continium. The "akasha realm" would be like a "sacred timeline" and a decoy or "red herring" to trick time-travelers and like this avoiding possible time paradoxes. The aksha realms can't be totally erasured, but some times these can be "eaten" by the Far Realm, becoming demiplanes with "unwanted guests". If they are lucky these demiplanes or domains could "escape" to the Astra Plane or the elemental limbo (I hope you don't mind to be githzerais' neighbours).
