Fochluchan Lyricist--opinions?

Out of curiosity, would you allow any of bard, loremaster, or cloistered cleric levels to stack in a character that had all 3, for the purpose of bardic knowledge/lore checks?
Yes. Anyone that interested in that sort of character shouldn't be punished for wanting to do one non-combat-related function extremely well.

On a more detailed note than my post above, here's what I've discovered so far:

Anyone going for the FL is going to have to be perfectly fine being the laughingstock of the party for the first few levels. Seriously. If you go the standard route (Bard/Druid/Rogue) and you attempt to stay balanced for the purposes of multiclassing, your BAB stuttersteps even worse than normal. Numerically, it all balances out (they all have the same attack progression), but the reality of Brd 1/Drd 1/Rog 1 = 3rd level with no BAB.

The spell progression makes me want to cry. In order to make sure I was effective, I literally whipped up an Exel spreadsheet to see what my skill points/spells available/hit points would look like at various benchmarks. Let's just say that being a 10th level PC with 1st level Bard spells and 2nd level Druid spells makes me ... well...it makes me sad.

But the skills...ye gods, the skills! Did I mention the Exel spreadsheet? It's that massive, especially with a high Int. (My PC's is running an 18.) You will never run out of skill points.

I'm not pretending that I'm going with an optimal build - the utlimate goal is Bard 2/Druid 3/Rogue 2/Human Paragon 3/Fochlucan Lyrist 10 - but no matter what build you are going for, you're going to suffer for the first 5-6 levels. Be prepared for it. =)
