For those who run in the Scarred Lands what is your favorite area to adventure

scarred lands

I don't have my maps in front of me, we are still talking about East Morland, right?

I have a Cartographer (3rd level expert) that I will be posting as soon as I can find his sheet. (gotta have my maps - as a player AND as a DM)

For everyone but Nightfall and Graf who is reading this thread - I hope all the stuff we are posting is helpfull. If you have anything specific that you would like to see then just chime in and we will sure do our best to accomodate you.

Have any of you guys worked up any cool on the road encounters? Speciffically, stuff that is non-combative? ie: the encounter with Carnac the Magnificent.

Well only one! ;) But I'm glad you liked that one. Killianni is mostly there to build her own little stash of magic and probably do few classes (after the students pay their way here). Plus they get to find out what's in the lower levels...Perhaps a lost gold vein? Some Dweomer Crystals? Or maybe just a way of training against underground monsters? ;) You be the judge.

As for the scythe of Celeress, I figured it would be a nice way of making a druid circle as well as having something to balance out the growth in that wood.

Both work and I enjoyed them both and will use them if my players go there. I just found it fitting that a druid would "plant"
an artifact weapon created by the power he worships. It's just one of those "all's right with the universe kind of things" because only a "tree hugger" would do it!

Nightfall - I can't seem to find the post that you did that mentions me looking for a wizard and us being on opposite coasts . . . I don't know if you ever make it out to Cali, but if you ever do then I would love to get you in one of my games.

You seem to have a good feel for not only how the game is played but also how the game is "balanced" I have found your posts to be insitefull and helpfull as I'm sure the others on this thread have as well.
What do you feel is the "best" way to estabulish a SL repository?
Do we just keep this thread alive or is there a better way? Is there anything you are looking for in your Hollowfaust game? I could post my last character "Sanackranib" as a LE necromancer PC nemisis if you like.

Yes, due south of Llangwyr. The mountain/hill I was refering to is just above the marked place for the Border River. (You know where it says border river)

Yeah would be nice if it was more than just the two/three of us. :)

Thanks man, it's very much appreciated and yes I figured this would be something that a druid of Denev might do with an artifact. Especially one that was in the hands of a pivoat(sp) player such as Celeress.

It's on the gamers seeking gamers section of the BB. But thanks for the invite man! It's appreciated.

I don't know about the best way, but certainly the stuff that's been posted here, I've put in my own forums. (At least at the Repreive.)

As for my Hollowfaust game, nothing so far BUT if that changes, you'll be the first to know. I've already got some pretty good nemsises in my own little cabal I've done called the Rising. (Can't reveal more since my players read this board.)

scarred lands

since I am still pretty new at this whole "posting thing" I'm gonna ask what will probably seem like a real stupid question:
"how do you get the board to post only a part of a quote like the following (which I cut and pasted)

the border river thing will work out well thats not far from where they are at all. I have a lot of stuff for them that will take place between Llangwyr and Melaid. (looks like they are going south to check out the "mage fair".:D

If you scroll down to the bottom of this post, you'll see scroll bar. There you can scroll down to the gamers seeking gamers section.

Excellent! :) If you need more stuff, I'll be happy to help.

Btw I slightly altered Killanni. She's still mage but she got 2 levels in Ranger. (For her woodland deal.)
