i read the faq but am still pretty confused. where do i go to get the randomly generated moves? how do i create a character?

Most of us do indeed have it in our sigs - makes it easy to get to in a fight (especially when you're at work ) Or else the link you're looking for is in the FAQ. It's in the second post in the thread - the one titled YB Generators and info.
