D&D 5E Forgotten Realms and Princes of Apocalypse: Kossuth and Imix?

With Princes of Apocalypse here, my group is planning to begin a new campaign. One of my players is considering being a cleric or paladin of Kossuth, which seems pretty reasonable given the elemental theme of the story. However, I'm wondering: what's the relationship between Kossuth and Imix. Both are powerful elementals (a.k.a. primordials in 4E terms)... but what else?

Your help is appreciated!

Check out the 1st Ed Fiend Folio: their origin.

Kossuth is the unaligned primordial/god of Fire Elementals, tending to Lawful Neutral. Based on his description in 3E's "Faiths and Pantheons", he sort of believes that Fire is predominant over all, which brings him into a lot of conflict with the other elemental gods. No mention is made of Imix (NE), due to the Elemental Princes of Evil not originally being part of Realms mythology.

Kossuth would likely see Imix as a pretender, someone who seeks to gain what is not his by right! They don't have a good relationship...

Cheers!

Kossuth considers Imix irrelevant. Imix isn't even remotely a threat to Kossuth. But if Imix does anything to defame Kossuth's portfolio, Kossuth or at least Kossuth's followers would pay attention.

Ha, of course, totally, Kossuth is a deity, Imix is not. Apologies, distracted today.

I remember Kossuth being ranked as a Greater God, and Imix would effectively be Demigod. I don't think they really concern themselves with each other.

Imix is more opposed to Olhydra the Water Elemental Princess of Evil, and his alleged son Zaaman Rul the Fire Elemental Prince of Good, than he would be with Kossuth.

To Kossuth Imix is a nuisance with delusions of grandeur. Powerwise they're not remotely in the same league.

IIRC there's an old FR adventure where Imix and the Sultan of Brass joing forces to invade Thay when a botched summoning attempt by the Red Wizards opens a permanent gate to the plane of fire. The PCs are tasked with travelling to Kossuth's court and to tattletale on their actions to Kossuth who then to whistles Imix and the Sultan back like lapdogs

Which adventure is that? It sounds interesting.
