Fortification Stacking?

How would you stack Light Fortification on a piece of armor and on a shield?

No stack, just a flat 25%?

Two seperate checks @ 25% each?

Stackable, so 50%?

I'd think that would kinda fall under the 'no stacking of bonuses of the same type' clause. After all, its two items with identical effect. IMO, this would overlap but not stack.

Yeah, no stacking - they'd overlap. Otherwise you're setting a dangerous precedent, and raising some unpleasant questions about the progression of Fortification costs.
