Gah, this game is so fast paced it makes my head explode. Of course I thought the same thing playing the original. I just can't keep up with all my characters. Crazy.

Hmm this game haspeaked my interest. Ive finally taken a break from World of Warcraft to dl the demo and it looks nice - the devs seem to have tweaked some of the original games interfaces clunkiness. And multiplayer will hopefully be better-but thne again it was practically nonexistent.

It still looks like Kirbyesque fun. I prolly pick it up...first game ill have bought in 6 months.

Anyone else?

I preordered from Irrational.. they actually self published the game.. and Vivendi is releasing it which imakes it well worth supporting. I'd still ike to see them take the game into the 70's era and eventually into the anti-hero phase of the 80's and 90's. I love the whole feel of the game.. though I have to admit the interface is sometimes a problem and the lack of indipendent thought in the first game made it grueling at times.

That's what the pause feature is for. Should be the spacebar or maybe the 'P' key.

Assuming I understand you correctly.

Same thing happened to me when I started to play the orginal Baldars Gate. The combat was real time, but I did not find out about the auto pause feature until like a week later. I was getting frustrated. If that game did not have an auto pause feture, it would have been unplayable IMO.
End of hijack.
