Freeform character building system

Question

First Post
A DM wants to run a campaign with this system : http://hiddenway.tripod.com/freeform/method.html

I did some maths and figured out the fighter class would exceed the default 200 BP amount for first level PCs, and thats assuming the race has it as a favored class......judging by that it seems the maths isnt very balanced. What do you think?

Incidentally he wants us to use 150 BP for stats. Thats the equavelent of a 18.75 pointbuy in D&D.

Seriously this guy is on some sort of weird game creation/deconstruction power trip.

You mention the fighter my math says for a favored class the fighter actually only costs 186 and 206 for a non-favored class. But those numbers are nothing compared to rogue (249/274) and ranger (277/302) I didnt bother doing any of the spellcasting classes since his system is needlessly complicated.

If he wanted to do this right he should just go to simple generic classes and build the options from there but this is thing is a monstrosity. Oh, and he vastly undervalues the BP costs for spell like abilities (Though mostly the 1st level ones).

Tell him you want true strike at will as a special ability for a measly 16 BP or CLW or Prot. From Evil or Shield or Mage Armor or Enlarge Person or Expeditious Retreat or probably a few others I havent thought about that would break the game.
