Walter should know better than to try playing Operation while stoned. Really the first thing he should of done was go get snacks with Ellie.
promo interviews kept talking about this as a big musical episode. And while there was singing (I do not deny that) it wasn't as much as I was expecting.
That's not a bad thing, I'm glad it wasn't complete end-to-end singing (like that one buffy episode, for example). just, not something i think i want from this particular show. i found it enjoyable for what it was though, and for some reason, i really enjoy seeing the many emotions of walter -- his facial expressions carry a lot of emotional weight.
we're not far off from the end of the season (it's this week's episode, and then a 2 parter season finale) so it will be interesting to see how this season wraps together (though i have a few guesses)...
