I liked it better than the season premiere; more character development.

I'm curious to see where the hunt goes but can't help but feel like things were left hanging back in the 2010's.

Hopefully they'll be answered over the rest of the season. Filling in the missing details, flashbacks, etc ...

So far it seems like season 5 is a completely different tv show, than the four previous seasons. Almost literally like a complete reboot. (Even season 4 seemed like a mini-reboot).

The third episode "The Recordist", seemed kinda meh too. Kinda slow going.

If they're dragging out the entire season 5 as one "long movie", I wouldn't be surprised if many of the "scavenger hunt" episodes will be slow going and meh.
