Full attacks mounted

If a rider is on a horse that makes a double move, can he/she take a full attack or only a single attack? Does it matter if the weapon used is melee or ranged? Is there a restriction on where the attacks must be made within the move?

If the horse (and you) double move neither of you gets an attack. You could charge and if your Ride check is high enough then you both get an attack with no penalties.

If you fire a ranged weapon IIRC it's -4 for a single move -8 for more than that.

For the most part you treat then as one creature with respect to attacking and movement.

Actually it's no penalty for ranged weapon use during a single move, -4 for a double move, and -8 while your mount is running (quadruple move).
