Galactic (the band): Anyone ever seen them in show

The Montreal Jazz Fest is upon us, and with the absence of Medeski Martin and Woods this year (it's ok though, last year's show wasn't that great), I was looking for a cool concert to attend.

Galactic, a band i had never heard of in my life, is giving a show at a very reasonable price (~30$, compared to last years MMW show @ 60$ a ticket), and from what I've heard so far, they seem like a real cool, funky-jazzy band. Anyone here have been to their show? What did you think?

I've seen them three times in Indianapolis--they are great! They were just in Indy about 3 weeks ago, though without their lead vocalist. So if he's still sick the show won't be the same.

They typically play several funky instrumentals that really groove. One of the guys plays a bass saxophone. Every couple of songs, Houseman, the vocalist saunters out and kicks in the soul.
