Obviously, I didn't go to North. But I occasionally drop a line to my senior journalism teacher, just to let her know where I am and what I am doing.

I would do that - and stop in to say hi to Mr. Lindsey, but I know I would be absolutely crushed if he had forgotten me - which he probably has - so I don't. He was a huge influence in my life and I will just keep him on his pedestal and ignore the reality.

I'd drop him a line or e-mail just to let him know. Then you don't have to take the chance on rejection. I'm sure it would make his holidays to hear from an old student.

Speaking of which, I came across my high school Web site and I was absolutely stunned to see how many of my old teachers are still there. I mean, sure, they were probably only in their 30s back then and now are in their 50s, but it just seems ODD that so many of them are still teaching.

Which reminds me Vince, in my last weekend burst of house arranging, I came across the Planescape stuff you loaned me a while back. I forgot I even had them.

Just hang on to them if you want. If you bring them back, I will just put them in a box and shove them in the attic. Should I need them, I can always just let you know.

I never realized I was such a mooch, but I found an awful lot of games, movies, books and what have you that I need to return to people.

I borrow a lot of stuff, myself. I have movies that I have borrowed from my dad, my brother, from you and from Jason. I have a book on my shelf I borrowed from my uncle Richard 21 years ago... I should probably return that. I have two books I borrowed from my aunt Kathy 23 years ago, but she said I could keep them about six years ago - she had sold the rest of the series in a garage sale in the meantime. I am horrid at returning things in a timely manner.

But a visit to Mr. Lindsey should not be about us, really. You, as a teacher, should know better! I think it should be about honoring a teacher and letting them know what a difference they made in your life, regardless of what they thought of you or whether they remember you. He probably forgets a great many students, after all.

Even Luke went back to see Yoda. I intend to do it someday... perhaps after I get my license... :)

True. I'll think about it.

Just to make things fair, too, since Chris voted for all the Inzeladuns it should be known that I only voted for one. Had I voted for all of them, the score would be 3 for Inzeladun in one category and 3 for superhero...

I'm interested in Role Playing -- but with a very active 1 year old and a wife who travels on weekends it will be infrequent that I could come without him.

I also have to really draw the line at no more than 4 players and 1 GM. It isn't just that combat grinds to a halt as people hem and haw over their options but each player adds ƒx(1..n) = Σ(n-1) player interactions. I think it breaks down the ability to reach even simple decisions quickly.

Could I get a high level comparison of the different Inzeladun rules being proposed?

I am of pretty much the same opinion. Still, if Bob, Me, Chris, and John play... Craig is probably out. I don't know about anyone else... that is 4.

Dave and Jason would be six and I'm pretty sure both of them are still interested in a regular game (or as regular as Dave can make it.)
