I have a few 'in-between' adventure sessions coming up in my campaign, and I'm looking for some ideas on how to entertain my players without putting their PC's lives at risk (there's been a lot of that lately-- they need a break). They are going to be in Sigil for a at least one session and then a small isolated Keep on the Borderlands for another session or two.
I was thinking to throw some gambling in, both in the form of dice or card games, along with some carnival-style competitions and so on. I'd like to avoid playing a real dice game, or just saying the guy wth thigher movement race wins the foot race. Can anyone suggest some rules sources for such in-game games?
Thanks in advance,
