Gaming Group turns 26!!!!

My gaming group began on May 24th, 1982 so today marks our twenty-sixth anniversary. This weekend we will play our 1057th Game and are currently on our 146th module. Two of the playing characters in this module have been played off-and-on from our very first game. All six of the current members of our gaming group have been with us for 24 to 26 years (although a few did take some breaks in between).

That is one heck of an accomplishment as anyone who has played in your games at an EN World game day knows; nobody ever has any fun in your games.

I have one friend I have gamed with on and off for 27 years, but the longest I had a single group was 9 years.

I can't fathom someone playing with the same group for as long as I've been alive. Heck, my current group just hit 1 1/2 this month and it's an insane milestone for me. 17 years playing, probably 20 different groups.

Kudos, guys. May you always have enough Just For Men to keep your beards from turning too grey.

Wow. What level are you guys?

Each player has five to nine different characters who we alternate playing depending upon the module levels and who each player wishes to play. The highest is 17th, 9 levels of Wizard and 8 levels of cleric. Most characters are in the levels 8 to 10 range. Mine tend to be lowest as I DM around two-thirds of the time, with only one at 7th and the others four in the 3 to 6 range.
