i've got freedom of movement AND benign transportation, i would GLADLY swap places with some one in a grapple if some one does something to that light, i've probly ariving on the seen soon

Edit:... ummm jemal, i just read the daylight spell. the object it is cast on emits light. not causes the area around it to be lit. so there are shadows still, from the trees, plants, me, D. so the shadow dancer hide in plain sight should still work, the other way to get hide in plain sight i use wouldn't work, the one i wanted incedently, but shadow dancer should still work unless you're just ruling it doesn't.

Edit2:i'm asuming he cast defensively, but you forgot to mention it, because otherwise i would have got an AoO and i can hit him, hard enough that he migh tnot make the check, bu tof course yo ujust forgot to mention it right...

few things -
First, don't forget that none of you know which of your fellows has freedom of movement unless you stop to find out... most likely by asking out loud, which would let the NPC's know what's going on.

Flesh - I didn't mention his casting defensively b/c his concentration is like Oroz's Tumble - Couldn't fail on a 1, so he's always doing it.
Also, I always presumed that Daylight filled the area with light, as it has in previous editions, instead of radiating outwards like rays (The darkness spells state that they radiate like this, but the daylight spell specifies that the object has to be covered completely or placed inside something to block it's light. Since it doesn't give examples of partial blockage, I'm going to go with the previous editions take. The 'dim light' in the second half of the area would have shadows, but b/c it's widened like most of his spells, that's 120' away.
You can still hide if you can get concealment from him - bushes, trees, etc provide an abundance of that, but he didn't like the shank-hide-shank-repeat tactic.

IC Update hopefully tommorow presuming all PC's have posted (Haven't checked the IC thread lately)

Actually, I'm willing to move forward and NPC him till he gets back, I'm just a bit busy ATM, and running high level combat is time consuming. It usually takes me a while to write up a combat summary (Especiallywhen it's the badguys turn). I'll be updating soon, though, so don't feel too abandoned.

BLOODLINE TIME!

Arineil has just met the requirements to activate the first level of her bloodline: Be reduced to zero or fewer Hit Points by a worthy opponent.

And before you ask, no none of the rest of you have this trigger, so don't go trying to get yer asses kicked. ;)

Anyways, now that someone has accessed their Bloodline, here's the scoop:

I have a preset trigger for each of you that will allow you to access the first level of yoru bloodline. Both the trigger and the bloodline powers are based upon a combination of your character and his/her bloodline. Though it varies from PC to PC, they will generally take the form of power-ups or transformations that give you an extra advantage for a short time. The strength of the power-up/transformation will determine how often you can use it and how much it costs.

The cost will usually be something along the lines of XP, Ability Burn, or spell-slot usage.
For those of you unfamiliar with Ability Burn, it is similar to ability damage but cannot be magically or psionically healed, it only heals naturally (AKA through rest). Essentially you could take one ability burn per day and it would heal that night when you rest. Alternately, you may pay an XP cost from your "freebie" XP pool.. if you didn't spend it all on Gimmicks&Gadgets. I've specifically found other costs for characters who actually have Item Creation feats, but for those of you who used someone elses feat, it's XP or Burn.

(Just FYI The first transformation is free of charge)

Rathan - Celestial Bloodline Level 1
Arineil can undergo a Clestial Transformation, granting her the benefits of the half-celestial template with the following modifications: Does not gain the half-celestial Spell-Like-Abilities. Max HP/Skill points unaffected. HP set to 10xlvl +20xBlood level(Currently 220). Instead of gaining DR 10/magic, gains +2 to existing DR per blood level. Gain benefits of the Protection from Evil spell and immunity to poison.
This power costs either 500xp OR 1 con burn to activate. You may activate it multiple times per day, but may spend no more than 1 minute(total) in this state. You may activate it as a free action on your turn or as an immediate action if/when you would normally be knocked out/killed. You retain whatever buffs you had going prior to activation(Rage, etc).

EDIT: Also, it's been a while since we heard from Voidrazor or OnlytheStrong - whats up, guys? Did I miss you posting something or are you busy, or...?

Woo!

Looks like someone got their bankai!

(^_^)

Jemal, Voidrazor's been posting in another game I'm in...I'll nudge him in that thread to make sure he knows Legends is moving.

Question, that ability that Oroz gave the characters (the take up to your BAB off your AC and add it to your attack, so a -20 to AC and a +20 to Attack), can that apply to Adamas' grapple checks to break free?
