Gaming W/Jemal: Legends (3.5e d&D) *Recruitment Closed*

Nice, i wasn't expecting us to get these right from the start :) Also, Shayuri are you a Bleach fan?

Oh, and Jemal - Silivrenniel has Greater Blink active on her, readied vs. the feral so the attack is an auto fail, right? Also, anyone else gets a 50% miss chance against Sila unless they can see invisibility (in which case it's 20%) or if they can attack etheral creatures (20% still) or both, in which case there is no penalty.

[sblock=Greater Blink]
This spell functions like blink (PH 206), except that you have control over the timing of your “blinking” back and forth between the Ethereal Plane and the Material Plane. You can also ready an action to blink away from any physical or magical attack. The attack misses automatically unless it also affects ethereal targets (as a force effect does). While blinking, you have no chance of interfering with your own attacks or your own spells. When moving through solid objects, you do not risk materializing inside one unless you actually end your movement there, in which case you materialize and are shunted off to the nearest open space, taking 1d6 points of damage per 5 feet traveled in this manner.[/sblock]

Ok... I understand the bloodline level 1 powers alright... but the HP portion of this.... is Arineil still down... or did the kick in of the bloodline power give her back 220 HP? and do I get 220 hp + hp's from con as well.... or JUST a strait 220...

Basically what I'm asking is... does this ability act as like an free action/immediate action kick-ass heal spell with extras?

EDIT: The wings you mentioned in you flavor text of Arineil gaining her bloodline power... was that just flavor or does she have wings? Are they permanent or do they only last for as long as the bloodline power is activated?

I'm here, and have been keeping up with the IC and OOC thread. Creating my new character has been going kinda slowly (spell selection etc.). But there's been a fair amount of progress on him in the RG thread.

Void - Keep me posted as to when your characters ready, I'll look over what's currently there and do a partial nitpick. When you're ready I'll work ya in.
Now we need onlythestrong.

Rathan - The wings are part of the bloodline (Half celestial template gives you wings which provide a fly speed equal to twice your land speed)

the HP thing means that when you transform your HP are set to 220, regardless of what they were before the transformation. (You are basically healed up to 220, but I don't suggest using it when you're over 220).

Eseentially it's more effective the more damage you have.

Myth - You took an action last round, readying takes place of a standard action, so unless you're a choker or a 3.0 mage you can't do both. The greater blink means he has to roll miss chance. I'll update the IC thread accordingly.

sweet... permanent wings.. and just to be perfectly sure... this does not count as gaining a level does it?... I only gained a level in my bloodline abilities.. NOT an actual character level yes?

Signed,

Slightly Confused

heh

2 Clarifications:
A: The 'bloodline level' is seperate from your actual 'level', it's kinda like divine rank, totally seperate and has absolutely nothing to do with your character level.

B: I think you misunderstood about the bloodline.. the half-celestial template is what you gain when you use your bloodline, Which can be done for 1 minute a day, none of it is permanent (At least, not at this bloodline level). It's a temporary transformation for use when your normal abilities aren't enough to do the trick. When you transform back from your bloodline, you will loose all of those abilities until the next time you transform, Wings included. (Exception: You don't UNheal, you would remain at whatever HP you were before you ended the transformation).

IK is down, i can't roll the attacks vs Rho.

Everyone who is not dealing area damage should focus the bear thing, we can't afford to spread damage over 3 opponents.

If we start getting badly beaten i will burn 5000 XP and have Sila cast Wish - heal all damage

Guys i really want to help with the bear, but AOE is Silivrenniel's thing. She can focus on the bear next round with an empowered/enhanced Polar Ray, depending on how damaged it looks after this attack. A power word: stun might be useful too, i don't want to use it too early though.

I'm debating when to use Chevik's Mass Heal that he has memorized, it will heal 210 pts/person and I want to get the most damage out of it I can...

I will post IC today sometime with Chevik's actions

I'm not sure about Sabastian but Adamas can withstand at least one more round of the bear's mauling.

If he's freed, however, he has a great chance of dealing a minimum of 266 damage in one round. I only state that because I'm excited for the prospect.
