Gaming W/Jemal: Legends (3.5e d&D) *Recruitment Closed*

Jemal, I think all of the crunchy bits of Xavid are finally done. If everything checks out there, I'm happy to fill in background and descriptive details IC.

Side note: Xavid's name is pronounced Zah-veed.

No, he said that Arineil would rip the character a new butt hole if they killed an unconscious Rho. Rathan didn't mention anything about the other enemies, and it's really only because Rho gave Arineil a good fight that she would react like that I think... Arineil is from a simpler culture, where rules are more barbaric...

In terms of the diplomacy check, yes Arineil might become hostile, but as far as actually attacking you? I doubt it.

Salthorae thanks! I read the IC update and got the picture now. Oh and btw Rho is not unconscious or helpless, he is simply fleeing.

Well i'm actually eager to get back to the RP part and talk to the old man. What did Rho want with him.. What is the nature of our bloodlines, where are the others (i assume the forbidden bloodlines of undead, evil dragons etc. have their prodigys just like Rho is the prodigy of war), and what is our purpose.

Jemal some of the cools spells the NPCs used are from Dragon Magic you say? I must read that..

Jemal - Can we actually see Rho/Dragon well enough to target them with spells? Do we have line of effect/sight with them?

How does being held by a flying creature affect one's AC/Saves? I now you said that he's not considered "grappled" so he still has his dex, but there has to be some effect on his ability to "dodge" spells and evade spells etc I would think.

Just thinking about Chevik's actions for this round... also depends on how Feral acts too I guess...

IC has been updated. Took a bit longer than anticipated, but my glasses are broken at the moment so reading/typing are a bit of a chore right now.

PC's are out of combat unless you find a way to chase the badguys (The draon is aprox a thousand feet north, and the feral is unseen at the moment.)

I don't really mean to give chase. I just want to try to verify that feral's gone...not waiting around to gank us when we're relaxed and our buffs are gone. :)

As you've killed the bear(Choker), I'll post his stats up in the Rogues Gallery thread. If you have any comments or questions about him (Such as if something seems to not make sense with what you saw IC), please ask them here and I'll be happy to answer.

Also, if you have questions regarding the fighting styles and/or apparent rules lapses regarding other characters, please ask those as well. Since they're not dead, I won't give you all the info on them, but I am willing to answer some questions.

Finally, I've decided that starting now I'll be allowing both PC's and NPC's to make skill checks to identify racial and/or class abilities they experience.
IE if you see someone singing, you could make a check to realize whether it's 'just singing', or bardic music, or warchanter music, etc. Same goes for the bear's shifting, anybody who made an appropriate check would have known IC what was going on. Granted, some of you may figure these things out OOC, and if you do so, kudos, but it's going to be my 'fair' way of letting people know WTF their opponents are doing.

EDIT: OH, One more thing - I'd like everybody's feedback on the fight, what you thought of it, what you liked/disliked, any things you think I should work on, or what you think I should keep doing.
(Just for the record, i don't usually have NPC's flee, but i had always wanted at least one or two of these four to escape for a later encounter, so I gave them all "run away when we start loosing" tactics.)
