Gaming with the Family

Merry Christimas everyone!

With the holiday's here, I was wondering if anyone actually gamed with their family during this time? Relatives are in from out of town and you end up playing (whether originally scheduled or an impromptu session).

Anyone have any stories to share?

Sadly only my wife and kids (all four of them) have any interest in gaming. We do have a Christmas/New Years party that is 90% gamers and sometimes there is a spontaneous RPG session and definitely card games.

Don't have any family to game with. But got to game with my gaming group on Saturday.

Promised the kids to play HeroClix and do an hour or two of Eberron this week at some point.

Friday Night Magic with wife and mother-in-law every week. They also both played in my last campaign.

We MIGHT have our first family D&D game tomorrow. We'll see...

Been too busy getting ready for Christmas to game. We had 7 guests and lots of food to prepare, plus wrap the presents for our friends. Now the kids are "too busy" playing their new PS2 games. Hopefully we'll game tonight.

my girlfriend's parents expressed an interest but i'm kind of nervous introducing it to them. They might think that 21 year old's playing 'make-believe' is a little silly.
