Gencon buzz seems much less than last year

I know I'm jazzed. It's all we can talk about at work (which is only a few blocks away from the con)--we just aren't big board-posters.

In fact, I think a couple of us are going to head over there in a couple of hours and try to sign up for that big $1,000 poker tourney. My friend said, "I can't pass up a chance to go all-in on a Klingon!"

Remember to stop by the ENnie booth and pester...I mean talk to the fools...voulenteers who are helping us out :D

Which reminds me I should probably know when I need to be there to watch the booth. :p

On Topic: Never been to GenCon, so I can't offer any less buzz than I ever have before.....

On the Tangent: As an interested, money-spending fan with no self-serving interests to trumpet or rant over: A big thanks and well done to Morrus and all the ENnies judges. The fact that you have remained true to a fair system despite these types of attacks shows the true integrity of the process. Well Done (past, present and looking to the future)!!!!!

Yeah, cause what I really want to see is RangerWickett in the next "Babes of GenCon" thread.
I hope you dont expect me to take THOSE pics? Not happening!

Though perhaps I can promise RangerWicket sleeping funny pics.

Though I don't agree with all of the judges' choices, I think, overall, they did a fantastic job picking the nominees for this year's ENnies. I was hoping that my own "Village of Oester" would have been nominated in a couple of other categories besides Best Adventure, but you can't have it all. :) It's a very tough job and I'm sure there were a lot of very close entries. The current system is both fair and appropriate.
