Gene Wolfe's The Wizard

First Post
So according to amazon.com The Wizard, book 2 of Gene Wolfe's "duology" is out. My order shipped today. I was surprised since I thought it was to be released in November.

Anyone seen it on bookshelves? I am anxiously awaiting the book-I loved The Knight. But then again has it been a year? Where does the time go?

Hmm hard to say without going into it too much story wise. Mr Wolfe does a great job of taking familiar mythic elements and changing them slightly. And the POV of the storyteller is well done I think-its not entirley original but entertaining. Great characters.

Its very much a "traditional" story about (to me at least) of knights and Faerie (much like the Lord Dunsay Faerie). Much different from the run of the mill franchise fantasy usually about.

The probably doesnt help....
