Last night, we bumped our PCs to 7th level to try out the Master path abilities in our final session and fought a CR 32 monster - monster scaling is different but that’s pretty tough. The spells and abilities are insane but it was still incredibly challenging. My death priest who could teleport adjacent to anyone who goes down in a fight felt really damn clutch.

Out of curiosity, have you played Shadow of the Demon Lord in that range? If so how different (if at all) did the two games feel to you?

I was just curious. I backed SotWW, but it may well be that I'll never play/run it, and I did play a whole campaign of SotDL so I wondered.
We’re planning on running a full campaign with it starting next year. We’ve just been doing some one shots for the past few weeks to try out the system.
