I would have to agree completely about alchemy. Frankly, anyone who did spend the points and the feat and the gold, only to discover quickly that they have to stop doing Alchemy now and can never use it again until they level would soon discover what a waste it was. I mean, waste a feat for unlimited alchemy, OK, that could be fair. But waste a feat for alchemy and then spend craft points until you aren't even allowed to use your feats or skill points any more? No thanksKahuna Burger said:the craft point thing ruined alchemy for me. Dedicate skill points and a feat and half the gold? no thanks, I'll just buy it.The whole bit about introducing a feat for alchemy and masterwork sucked, and worse yet, craft points represent a missed oppertunity from my perspective to make some changes in the imho straightjacketed crafting formula.
but luchily I had only been considering a character who did alchemy, and didn't throw any skill points away before the crafting system was introduced.
