MT gets it?!? That doesn't make any sense at all

Why restrict that skill though, I mean fighters get the strength skills and so on, Why wouldn't clerics be able to get all the wisdom skills freely?

Don't worry, its counteracted by Loremaster getting Perform(dancing) and Handle Animal.

You know who's really gyped though? The Enchanter. They should really have the Telepath skill list...::grumble::

OOC: <---- That's a joke

Lore Master=Dance Machiene?

I agree with that psion thing that I have never read up on, but assume you well know what your talking about

Hmmm? I was serious. The Loremasters really get that.

By Telepath skill list, I mean that the poor enchanters should be able to pick up Diplomacy et al as class skills. I mean, the meanies at Wizards are forcing them to be barred from two schools now, instead of just one, and its hardly fair :(

Eldricth Knights also get it (=even more weird). But then, Mystic Theurges get only two knowledge skills (Arcana and Religion) as class skills, which I think is a little bit wacky.

Yea, MT, one of the most scholarly-seeming classes aside from loremaster, and it just gets two knowledges. I typically houserule knowledges to be much more useful and available in my games, oh, and necessary. (if you don't have a knowledge skill, you have "common knowlegde", which might just be wrong.)

Sounds like fun, but how often is it usually wrong?

Pretty rarely, hopefully just enough to let the players figure out that it isn't trustworthy.

Any monsters that have strange abilities might have misleading stories circulating about them. Vampires are a good example, I'm not sure how many ways to kill a vampire I've seen in various stories.
