Saphire Nightmare Blade.

You've already invested in Concentration, on acount of Moment of Perfect Mind. May as well get as much milage out of it as you can.

I am tempted to create a Concentration based Warblade myself. Take the Wild Talent feat from XPH so I can gain a psionic focus, then expend the psionic focus to effectively "Take 15" on a Concentration check. So that's 15 +Concentration to whichever Concentration-maneuver I happen to be using. Not bad, eh?

Nope, not bad at all.

Also opens up the question of if Deep Impact would work in conjunction with a maneuver.

... actually thinking of it, an Elan Warblade that was almost all Diamond Mind would be pretty darn slick. Fitting, too. Especially if you're using the whole ki/psionics-as-the-same-energy thing.

Steely strike.

Leading the attack is good, but I'm not going full-on with White Raven with Cha 8.

Sapphire nightmare blade is also good, and I'll be getting it later to fulfill the prereqs for those later tastier Diamond Mind maneuvers, but the concentration check isn't as much of a given yet.

+4 to attack from steely strike can be a huge deal if someone's hard to hit (and they often can be, at low levels), and if you're fighting a single opponent, the penalty disappears, so it's pretty good in it's own right, and it also helps fulfill the prereqs for the higher level Iron Heart maneuvers I'll be wanting.

With MoTPM and SW as your two maneuvers, you cannot take sudden leap, or I might have chosen that. Swift action jumping is cool, useful and only gets better as you go up in levels, but sudden leap is the rare (only?) 1st-level maneuver that has a prerequisite.

Rats, I can't believe I didn't notice that. I shouldn't have included it as one of the options. :o

I just noticed something interesting after reading through the Book of Nine Swords. Wolf Fang Strike is the only 1st-level Tiger Claw maneuver or stance that does not have a prerequisite of another Tiger Claw maneuver. Hence, in order to take Sudden Leap, Blood in the Water or Hunter's Sense before 4th level, you will need to take Wolf Fang Strike first.

The generic human warblade's third maneuver known is Sapphire Nightmare Blade with 12 out of 26 votes. Diamond Mind seems to be a rather popular discipline! :)

I'm sure Iron Heart will pick up at level 5 or so. :)
