Hasn't that been pretty much done as a domain in Ravenloft to some degree? Staunton Bluffs and (now that it's been revised in 3E) Mordent are pretty ghost-heavy, from what I recall.

I'm not so sure. After completing the whole RtToEE, I'm not sure if Monte Cook is not a little overrated. A good designer, sure, but not for the kind of name recognition other posters think of him.
 


The question is, what happens if years pass in this ghost world, your character adventures, levels, and picks up new class abilities and such-- and he's raised?

It's feasible, if enough time passes between character death and resurrection.

He might be a little. He's not perfect, but who is? RttToEE is probably his most disappointing product for many. You should check out his more current products, like BoEM III, BoHM and Banewarrens.
