I think folks might have misunderstood my point, and that's completely my fault. I should have just written:

Clearly @Gradine has been offended, and explaining why they shouldn't be offended isn't helping.
We get to choose our words, but we don't get to choose how people should feel about them.

That's all I was trying to say. I can see how my earlier post sounded dismissive. Sorry about that; I didn't mean to imply that anyone hasn't dealt with personal struggles of their own.

I would assume this is not directed at me, as I did no such thing at all.

I have not seen any defending of Zak S, can you point to where this has occurred? He has been decried as disgusting repeatedly, from myself included.

Again, it is important not to immediately jump to the absolute worst take on where people are coming from, especially in these threads. I understand the anger, but this isn't fair to others here who are not saying what is being implied at all.
