Giants In The Land!

Probably with some sort of caste system putting the storm giants at the top of the heap and the hill giants doing menial labor.

If you're going to give them classes and levels anyway, you could probably just use Hill Giant stats for all of them, but give the leaders decent Int, Wis, and Cha and lots of levels.

Hey thats exactly what I do
Hill giant = standard giant (not unintelligent just very SLOW witted)

Storm Giant = Leaders of Giant society (Druids and Scorcerers)
Cloud Giant = Psychic 'Mystics'
Fire/Frost Giant = Barbarians (Rage manifest as fire/cold based powers)

*Stone Giants are elementals imc (not true giants)

I can think of a few more uses for giants. First, giants don't have to be giants. For instance, in an Arthurian campaign, "giants" could be Ogres or even just really big guys (Str 18). In a Tolkien-esque campaign, "hill trolls" could in fact be Hill Giants -- effectively, really big Ogres.

Giants in my own campaigns are often a very terrifying opponent, and can also serve as a powerful threat to the survival of entire kingdoms!

This gave me an idea: SHARK Mad Libs!

__________(noun, plural) in my own campaigns are often a very terrifying opponent, and can also serve as a powerful threat to the survival of entire kingdoms!

Giants, Orcs, Hobgoblins, Minotaurs, Potted Plants -- they're all terrifying opponents in SHARK's world! ;)
