No no, I got out of there with degrees in Chem and Bio. I'm safe on that account. However...

For those of you who got a lib arts degree from UNC, I'm not making a value judgement, I'm just repeating what a decent pizza place had to say a few years ago.

Hey, say what you will about the value of a liberal arts education, those guys make good pizza.

We cancelled our usual Monday Game Night last night and watched basketball instead. Well, actually two of the guys who are UNC grads AND die hard sports fans watched the game. Another UNC grad, and three ex-NC State-students (me included) played Star Wars Battlefront and Ghost Recon on the LAN until the last 5 minutes and then watched the rest.

But even though the Wolfpack didn't make it past the Sweet 16, I was pulling for the Heels all the way. Good for them to come from such a dismal season just a couple years ago to winning the Championship game!

As for the "want fries with that?" line...as a UNC grad I know it well, and I always answer it like this, "Of course, peasant! I paid for the combo! Don't make me put in a bad word with your CEO when we tee off on Friday!"

I do a dance of Joy for Roy finally winning the title.
I wish he had stayed at KU, but I still take pleasure in his victories.
