Ahhh....That last bell yesterday was a bell of freedom I tell you. Cheers went up as they always do for it mark end of the restrictions and the start of everything and anything.

SCHOOL IS OUT!

Last night I stayed out till 3 with my friends and had a blast. I slept till 1 today and no one cares. Tomorrow I do not have to worry about doing homework and getting up at at the crack of dawn the following day. Infact, I shall elude those ungodly hours for quite some time. To sum up...life...is...good.

Alice Cooper said it best:

Well we got no choice
All the girls and boys
Makin all that noise
'Cause they found new toys
Well we can't salute ya
Can't find a flag
If that don't suit ya
That's a drag

School's out for summer
School's out forever
School's been blown to pieces

No more pencils
No more books
No more teacher's dirty looks

Well we got no class
And we got no principles (principals)
And we got no innocence
We can't even think of a word that rhymes

School's out for summer
School's out forever
My school's been blown to pieces

No more pencils
No more books
No more teacher's dirty looks

Out for summer
Out 'til fall
We might not come back at all

School's out forever
School's out for summer
School's out with fever
School's out completely

How I dearly miss summer vacation.

Piece of advice. It is better to be broke during summer than have to work. You will have to have a job the rest of your life, put it off as long as possible.

Edit: stupid fat fingers can't type

Alice Cooper rocks!

This has been an unusual June for southcentral Kansas. It's been cooler & more humid than usual. Yet I still manage to get a sunburn when I mow the grass...

I lived in South Texas for 15 years, and now I live in the Boston area. I used to think summer was awful, and that winter was a great season. Now that I live in New England, I have to say that summer is a wonderful season after the long, cold winter.

I'm 31 years old, and I still look back with fondness on the summer I turned 21. I had no job and no money, but on the other hand, I didn't have any responsibilities that summer except playing in two different bands, goofing around on my computer, and staying up until 5 AM watching every B-movie I could find on TV. At the end of the summer, I got my first real job, which I kept until I got my degree, then immediately went on to a full time job, a wife, three kids, responsibility, responsibility, responsibility...

*SIGH* I miss that summer. :)

Well, I'm relaxing - just got my results from my first year exams at uni, and I passed 'em all, and so did my girlfriend; all in all, good stuff! Definitely looking forwards to a nice long summer holiday...
