I lived in South Texas for 15 years, and now I live in the Boston area. I used to think summer was awful, and that winter was a great season. Now that I live in New England, I have to say that summer is a wonderful season after the long, cold winter.

Only a Texan (or perhaps someone native to SoCal, rather than a midwestern transplant like me) would think Boston has long, cold winters. Heck, for most of the winter it's not even cold enough to snow.

But now that I live in the roughly coastal part of San Diego, I can always be smug about the weather. Typical January day: Sunny, high of 60; typical August day: Sunny, high of 75 :) .

Thusday was the last day of school for me. Me and my buddies spent the whole day messing around and pullin pranks until four in the morning. Door bell ditchin, duck taping the road, and throwing water balloons at people. Freeeeedom! Woot!
