Don't forget that per Worlds and Monster we have somewhere around three different gods vying for the Raven Queen's title. So there is both a societal 'soft' influence on domains and a 'hard' games of the divinities influence on domains.

Vecna is one. I think Orcus is another. Maybe Bane for the third? Dang, I'm gonna have to wait till i get home to look this up unless someone scoops me on it.

Io is the creator of Dragonkind, he was sliced in half during the war with the primordials. One part of him became Bahamut, and the other part became Tiamat.

So is Bahamut the front half or the back half?

Finally!!! Vengeance is the domain of an evil god! It bugged me that the semi-good St Cuthbert was the god of vengeance, as I see it as an evil concept.

Talking of St. Cuthbert, I wonder what alignment he should have in this edition? In some versions it’s Lawful Good, others Lawful Neutral… Considering his general history and the fact that his realm has been in Arcadia throughout the era of the Great Wheel, I'd say halfway in between those two alignments.

Of course, he might also be made unaligned (and we've yet to see if Lawful Neutral actually is included in core material).

So, where do you suppose this feats into the schema?

Channel Divinity: Power of Amaunator Feat Power
Your prayer to Amaunator creates a white-hot surge of radiance
...etc...

Do you think they tricked out a power of (say) Pelor with Amaunator's name because it was theoretically a FR adventure, or do you think that there is a "Power of X" feat, where X becomes the name of your god?

Personally, I think having some deity-specific feats would go a long way towards giving a nice level of customisation of clerical religions - an area which I believe WotC have said they've not really done much (anything?) with to date.

Cheers

Humm. Ok which one of those gods would be the best for the fate/prophecy type god? That type of god is going to be the primary god of the region were my first 4e game is going to start.

I was hoping there would be one that was dead obvious but it does not look like that is the case.

Avandra? As much as I love Halflings I don’t think I want their primary god for the area.
