Going A-Crawlin'

First Post
I'm tempted to run a Dungeoncrawl.

A few players I know have never played in one. So, I'm tempted to do a oneshot dungeoncrawl. Either one of my own creation, or a module.

I'd prefer something Non-high level.

So, any suggestions for Levels/Modules? Or should I go for my own?

I know, the RA series are good, as is the Rainbow maze. But, still, what do you all say?

Keep on the Borderlands. Sure, it's first edition but it's so easy to convert. It's for low level PCs and is also a classic.

RA is good, but I would recommend Tomb of Abysthor, which is even better:
-it is a good value for your money - $12 for 96 pages of stuff
-the backstory is evocative, and there are lots of very cool denizens in the dungeon (two evil temples, even more evil wizards and evil secrets)
-better executed overall, better descriptions, better rules... OTOH, I didn't like the art as much
-giant frogs! ;)

Doesn't exactly fit the "short dungeon crawl" qualification, does it? :)

Try NeMoren's Vault (tone down the treasure, though.) Its for 2nd level characters.

Yes, short. No Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil, please. ;)

Since it'd be online, I would like something a touch short, so... yeah. Or, atleast, I could Steal some considerable stuff from material. I had the idea of a Choker with rogue levels, as a critter in there.

Psion: sorry, I seem to have spilled my brains and slipped on them... :D
How about Nemoren's Vault, then? It is a nice first level dungeon, perfect for a one-shot (esp with the heaps of $$$ in there). You could also do Maze of Zayene 1, Prisoners of the Maze - it has a lot of creepy weirdness inside, and several cool little ideas. Stay away from the first if you mind excessive treasure, or the second if you mind arbitrary dungeons. Otherwise, go ahead!

NeMoren's Vault!

(Of course I may be biased!)

It's a perfect one-shot, and includes a fairly decent way to start the adventure that doesn't involve everyone sitting around in a tavern waiting to be hired. :)

PLUS - full color handouts! Can't go wrong!!

:) Haven't pimped myself in a while, I'm a little rusty.
