PHB 1: pg 232 under Thrown Weapons 1st sentence.
You do not get the magic thrown weapon back until after the attack is over though, so if the power attacks more than one target, you would need a thrown weapon for each.
As GM, I would allow you to use non-magical thrown weapons in conjunction with a magical one without a change in to-hit or damage because it is unfair to make the PC buy 10 magical weapons when an archer only needs one.
I wonder if goliaths will get the "V" treatment at some point and be given the option of +2 Str, +2 Con or +2 Wis. That would help them fit the advice that they are make good seekers. But there are other issues with a Goliath Seeker, the stat bonuses are very subpar.
No, you don't.
13. I am using a magical thrown weapon as part of an area of effect power. If I am attacking multiple enemies within that area, do I need multiple weapons, or will one suffice?
One is enough in this case. Magical thrown weapons return to you after each attack, so you’ll be able to use it against each enemy as part of using your power.
Or your magic warhammer banks off one foe and into the next and then the next before returning to your hand.
Just remember to ululate like Xena!Or your magic warhammer banks off one foe and into the next and then the next before returning to your hand.
Only problem with this is when your Assassin wants to go go Rogue/Shadowblade, and realizes how badly the her shadowblade works with Burst Fire and Blinding Barrage without extensive negotiation with the GM.Really, it flavors how you want it. I much prefer my Assassin throwing non-magical daggers. They stay stuck in the enemy when thrown. MC Assassin or Monk, carry around a Bag of Holding full of non-magical hammers and just throw your heart out.
