Good 3e boards?

I find that ENWorld is still a good place to go for discussions, although these past weeks its been 4E all over (but that is because it is MAJOR news). I also frequent the Paizo boards and the Dreamscarred Press boards (for apparent reasons).

I'm not too bothered about the 3e and 4e splits. One thing I will say, though, is that ENWorld remains the best place to get News and Publisher news, bar none. That's why I still come here, even though I don't get involved in various discussions as much any more. I just coun't be bothered to argue for or against 3e or 4e.

If you want news and publishing news, this is the place to be.

Feel free to come over to my forums for 3ed chat. It's been a bit quiet over there for a while, so I'm happy for folks to hijak it and move it forward as they like. I'd also be happy to host reviews, conversions, etc. Anyway, just a thought.

Reminds me of a story in Germany - several years ago, students all over Germany decided they needed someone to better represent them and other aspects of education, and tried to "conquer" one of the smaller (yet important) parties, by becoming members.

It didn't work out, but the idea was fun. ;)

Wait, 3-4 days for the board transfer are coming upon as! Nooooooo! How am I to survive this? Or does this mean these will become my most productive 3-4 days since the announcement of 4E? ;)

On 3E forums: I know only ENWorld. It has always been the best for me. But a new edition means there are a lot of new topics to discuss (plus the topics that don't need discussing, but everyone participates in anyway, like Edition Wars and "Playstyle Collisions"). Since no new 3E (WotC) books are coming out, the new stuff to discuss has gone out.

But I am pretty sure that if you open a 3E topic, or answer in one, you still get reactions. It's not as much as before, but it's not dead. And I didn't get the impression so far (but I might be wrong) that actual 3E discussions will be thread-jacked with 4E stuff. (Except maybe those that discuss incorporating 4E stuff into 3E ;) )

I think the true test of how well any edition is represented here on ENWorld is likely how active the Rules forums are. If the 3e rules forum dries up, 3e is likely dead on these boards.
