Good 8, Evil 9 - Evil wins the Exhibition!

Good starts by doing sekrit things, but still has decisions to make before the Top of Round 38 is over.

A dispel hits you:
I list Hald's buffs as: Protection from Good (r35), Resistance (r30), Shield (r36), True Strike (r37). The dispel knocks off the Shield and the True Strike, leaving the apparently very dispel-resistant Resistance and the latest Prot From Good.
Let me know if there's a mismatch anywhere.

Since the wall of force is transparent, I'm going to say that the antilight of darkness goes through it. If it was a daylight spell, I think we'd agree it would shine through the transparent wall, so I think that is logical.

Dispel magic at will does make for a nice companion.

Hurrycane's move.

Yeah, let me hazard a guess where... :)

Hald growls and flies through the whirling blades, trusting to his spell resistance to keep him safe. He flies in a tight circle to 70n40e (heading NW) skimming along the ground, looking for his opponent, before deciding on his action.

Hald's spell resistance doesn't do the trick, but his fancy flying avoids the worst of the blades, and he takes 19hp to drop to 148 hp.

As he swings around to 70n40e, he senses a medium size creature standing at 95n40e...

Hald continues to 85n35e and lands. Presumably, he cannot bull rush Hurrycane northwest, correct? Going with that, Hald instead tries grappling his foe.

Yes, I'd say that since you can't move into him from the SE then you can't bull rush him NW.

Since it was commented on in an sblock - to be clear, I'm assuming that the anti-light of the darkness anti-shines through the transparent wall of force, so the current conflict is inside of that shrouded area. :)

Hurrycane - you have an AoO, what's it gonna be?

[sblock]Hurrycane doesn't have his sword out, so he doesn't threaten. The darkness should be surpressed in his protective aura, along with any other low level spells Hald has cast after entering the arena.[/sblock]

Ho, ho a correction from the field:
... as Hald closes in on Hurrycane, he sees that the darkness is parted in a 20 ft circle around Hurrycane, much like a big targeting circle! But Hald also feels his protective magics fade around him.

Hald finds no threatening AoO to his grapple, and would surely wrap his opponent right up if the Ghaele wasn't *&#% invisible!

OOC: So I go though each careful step of the grapple sequence and start looking up what Hald's 'unarmed strike' damage would be when I realize I didn't check against the total concealment of the invisibility. Missed by 7%.

Ha-Ha! (Nelson style)

Hurrycane fires a prismatic spray down Hald's throat, then retreats behind the blades to 115N60E.

Squawk delays until Hurrycane leaves, then fires more magic missiles at Hald.
