I had the blow idea, but pointed out the flaw (Thanks!):

You get this by taking the new warlock multiclass feat in MP2 (Insightful Leader) which requires a Wis of at least 13, easy to take. Then you can gain the other feat, which has only warlord as prerequisite and gives scale proficiency and 1 healing surge.[/sblock]

Is there any possibility to get a decent AC without investing in Str?

That's a no go. You need the Battlefront Leader class feature for Armored Warlord.

Parrying dagger proficiency and a Rhythm Blade parrying dagger nets you +2 AC.

If you happen to have an Alfsair or Totemic Spear Javelin, and somehow, a Dex 13, you could pick up TWF, TWD (though parrying dagger is obviously the easier route to get a shield bonus).

Boots of the Fencing Master add a bit, just make sure you shift around every time you move your spirit companion.

Cloak of Distortion helps against ranged attacks.

Unfortunately, all of this can be done while wearing chainmail too, so you pretty much want 13 strength. Much like if you're playing an arcane striker you want 13 dexterity, regardless of what your secondary stat may be.

For Arcane Strikers? No it's for Dual Implement. Wizards like it for Destructive Wizardry, Arcane Reach, maybe Improved Staff of Defense, etc. in addition to Dual Implement, so they have a few reasons to start with Dex 13.
