In that case, if I cast a Create Undead spell using the Metamagic feat Consecrate Spell which gives the spell the [Good] descriptor, would that make a difference? I mean, correct me if I am wrong, but aren't most unintelligent undead neutral to begin with?

Doesn't the Consecrate Spell MMF require an Exalted caster? And isn't casting an Evil spell an Evil act which would cause you to lose your Exalted status and, therefore, access to the feat?

In other words, it might work once, but you're hosed afterwards ... ;)

See, this is my thinking as well.

It isn't mine. Animating something doesn't merely take a slab of meat and make it walk.

Specifically, see the spells Raise Dead and Speak with Dead. Neither work on a creature that has been turned into an undead being, even if that undead being is destroyed before the spell is cast.

Something in the animation process permanently damages something spiritual.

Can a spell have both the [Good] and [Evil] descriptors simultaneously? If they are mutually exclusive, then the Consecrate Spell feat might just work.... mechanically, anyway.
