I think we have another week before it hits the shelves.

I'm seriously thinking of buying a second copy to keep in the shrinkwrap. Only 2000 copies were printed, and it's really that good.

I got mine at Gen Con.

I would imagine that they'll have to do a second print run on this badboy. I think once word gets out about this product, they'll sell out quickly.

In threads on the Necromancer/JG forums it's been said, IIRC, that there WILL NOT be any additional printings due almost entirely to the sheer expense involved. For that reason alone a number of people have stated that they've pre-ordered more than one copy. JG don't really even seem at all confident they're going to make any money on it, although they are understandably hopeful. It seems doubtful that they're going to sell out even their "limited" print run and that would certainly be a MINIMUM requirement for them to even begin to consider the possiblitiy of an additional printing. Demand for it would have to exceed their wildest dreams.

They've clearly put a lot of time and expense into assembling the boxed set, but seem to have proceeded on it knowing full well that it's not going to achieve a wide circulation in gaming stores and they may not turn a profit on it. Sadly I just don't know that there's sufficient demand for JG Old-School style products. JG are definitely not doing this one JUST for the money. So if you want it but haven't pre-ordered it or reserved a copy somewhere you'd better be ready to go the extra mile to get it - fast - and then sing its praises from the mountaintops to get everyone else you know to buy it too.

I've not been patient with JG waiting for this one (it's 2.5 YEARS past their originally announced/intended release date) but I'm not concerned that it won't ultimately have been worth the wait.
