OOC: I;m soory guys, it seems the villains have quit.

I'll get a good adventure together for you guys and DM it myself, but don't expect it soon, I think in about two weeks, I'll wing it in the meantime, just keep the party dialogue going, and you guys can roleplay the NPC's as well.

As a starter (make your own way for a bit, as long as you make sure you don't arrive at the destination in two weeks, because I'll take ober then....)

IC: While the heroes are talking, the door suddenly springs open and a Gray dwarf appears in the doorhole, he is panting heavily.

"Any heroes here? I need help, LOTS of help. They said I could find it here! Plz help me!"

The heroes gather around the dwarf and hear his story.

"My land is under attack! Mind flayers and drows have breached our defenses and are now assaulting our keep. We can hold out for 2 monts maybe, but we desperatly need reïnforcements. We are the only force of good to keep the underdark in check in our region. You will need to travel through underdark to get their, so that wil hinder any teleportng skills you have. The keep lies thrre months on foot from the nearest entarnce to the underdark, you will need to find a way to get their in time, use any means neccesairy..."

With that the dwarf passes out. He has a letter on him with a description of his city and how to get there.

OOC: You can roleplay your travelling as much as you want, I'll take over in two weeks, just make sure you don't arrive at the keep within those two weeks. You can roll all your rolls yourself and the NPC;s rolls too, goodluck!

I'm sorry that I can't be more active, but I am VERY busy at the moment.

Since this hasn't really started, I'm going to drop out. I've got some other stuff going & find myself a little uncomfortable playing a high level character whom I didn't bring up myself. I was playing Onignar the monk. Good luck.

Zagrim

I guess Shadow Walk is out of the question? :D

"Finally! I knew a quest was brewing." Zagrim scoops up the map after everyone who wants to come along has studied it. Summoning up Kira, he prepares for the long walk.

Moving over to the dwarf, Sir Justin does what he can to make the man comfortable (Heal check, 14+18=32, he'll be fine.) Before going over to the map. "Indeed, he has most assuredly come to the right place. It would seem my suspicions were right, evil hasn't quit, it's just moved where it thinks we won't be able to reach it. SO, any ideas how we are going to do a 3 month travel in 2 months? I can fly much faster than I walk.. If the rest of you are faster than most people, we should be able to do it with ease.

"finnaly some excitment back into my life, going around and just playing darts was starting to get boring."
seeker will walk over to the letter and read it.

"i can fly but not that far (i think)"

OoC: i have celestial armour if has the ability fly, how long would it last???.

OOC: Celestial armour says "Fly once/day as the spell" So I'm assuming the caster level would be the same as the creators level(5), so that it would last 50 minutes... I'ld give him an hour. Maybe a horse to ride?

Zagrim begins casting Phantom Steed... "These spells will take me awhile, but will last all day, giving us great speed."

Each casting takes 10 minutes, but the spell will last 16 hours each. They top out at a move of 240, or about 54 mph with a double move (faster with a hustle).

Luna turns to her table companion, "What say you Durgal, up for a little trip?" She gets up and approaches the group gathered around the dwarf. "I would be glad to accompany you but I am afraid that traveling quickly is not my style. I suppose I can get a horse, a big, strong horse..." She smiles as she indicates the small earth elemental following at her heels.

Durgal puts his ale down at the mention of a possible journey. He then notices a lot of commotion over by the entrance to the tavern. Standing up, he realizes that he has missed something apparently very important. Picking up his sword, he walks gingerly over to the gathering at the door. Looking down he asks, "So, what happened to him? What's going on here, why are you all standing around this poor dwarf. Can't you see that he needs air? Move back, move back. Let the poor man breath a bit." Looking at the dwarf on the ground, Durgal thinks to himself. 'Well, apparently this is the cause of the loud disturbance a few seconds ago. What was he talking about? Drow and Mind Flayers? Bah, this ale is a bit stronger than the last place I stopped.' Durgal will check the dwarf's vitals to make sure he's not dying.

OOC: I know the Paladin has already done some work, but Durgal has been out of it and has no clue what went on.
