It's more to do with the fact that the artists SuperUnicorn choose to work with don't come cheap. There's a difference between $150.00 per page and $300.00 per page artists. Green Ronin is still working to pay off past freelancers due to the Osseum problem and so is choosing to not work with as many expensive artists, but the art has generally gotten better with each book. Instant Superheroes is somewhat if the enigma product as it uses some artwork from the Archetype Archives series, some of which is ok and some of which isn't.JoeGKushner said:I thought it was because the guys behind the art (Super Unicorn or something) couldn't commit full time to the old M&M brand. I hold Crooks up as still one of the best looking books, heads and shoulders above say Instant Hero.
