I'm not sure how much of a community feeling I should expect from a board with the population bigger than my hometown where it 10 times larger but anyway. I just thought I'd drop by and see what the D&D community was up to. Can't wait to add my to cents to the bank.

Welcome to the boards, and hopefully (as I have) you will find EN World to be a very welcome online home. I couldn't imagine that you would find it any other way.

Yes, it is a big online community, but do you want a silly recommendation to help you fit in? I think I felt more "at home" here in EN World after I had an avatar.

It was funny, but I came to realize that I identified so many of the people on these boards not as much by their board name, but more by the little picture under their name.

Nope, avatars stand out more to me and it throws me off when people change theirs.

welcome on the boards.
I´m very brandnew here as well and I use this board to ask my questions for help or advice. So it´s quite normal that I will not post very often, but I normally read the mesageboards daily at lunch time.
Therefore I must say I have never heard about bad things on the board here and also not my boyfriend. He is posting very often and spends a lot of time on hte boards.

I think you can get quite a bit of community feeling here. Of course, that kind of depends on how much of the conversation you jump into. But, whatever works for you!

Avatar's are cool. Though, it appears I will be throwing people off when I change mine. Sorry folks, but Sialia was cool and made me a few. I like 'em all! I will be changing from time to time. But, I think you will see that they are all similar.
