On painfully frozen feet, Ongwi makes his way up the slope, looking for any help. Scanning the ground, he sees that horses went into the Vale, and came back out along the same path. The trails out plainly show the panic of the horse, if not the rider.
Ahead of him, Arturio catches sight of shambling humanoid forms in the swirling icy dust storm approaching from the west.
OOC: We've flashed forward to the last round of Arturio's frightened condition -- unless Ongwi wants to do anything different. Mananga is 160 yards from the original starting point, Arturio is about 130 yards out. With double moves every round, Ongwi puts 20 feet separation between himself and the bad guys every round, and ends up 100 yards back from the starting position (basically at the head of the vale) with 100 feet between him and the bad guys...give or take.
