Guilty Pleasures

Ok, after the really good "Simple Pleasures" thread, it's only fair that we 'fess up to the little things we enjoy that we might feel a little embarrassed to admit.

I'll start by admitting I'm a Jerry Springer junkie. Whenever I'm home from work, I cannot help but watch Springer.

My friends know me as someone with fairly eclectic musical tastes which run toward a heavier side. But I'm a complete sucker for Barbara Streisand's music.

Oh, and the complete rule-absurdity of HackMaster. The concept of the game really seems to be "Why have one rule when you can have two contradicting ones?"

I enjoy Desperate Housewives. It's a good show. But I mainly only watch it because my wife watches it, but I do enjoy it.

I'm a sucker for reality TV, though. That's my guilty pleasure.

We watch American Idol, the Apprentice, Home Makeover, Wife Swap (and the other one), Nanny 911 (and the other one), and a few other things.

Hmm, what definies a guilty pleasure? Something you don't want to admit you like? Something you know is cheesy or lame but you still like?

I like chocolate - a LOT - but I'm not sure that's a guilty pleasure.

Although I do like the new Kelly Clarkson song. That might count. She was looking HOT on SNL this weekend too.

I LOVE books about crazy conspiracy theories/bizarre metaphysics/UFOs, etc.

I think they're total crap, but I do like reading them.

I had downloaded some rather nasty stuff off Bearshare a while back. One was titled "Indian woman with horse" It got downloaded off my machine more than any other file I had.
