Accurate Shot
Prerequisites: Int 15 or BAB +6, Precise Shot, Point Blank Shot

By using the focus of your keen mind, you're able to pin point weak and vulnerable areas on a target and make every shot accurate!

When using a firearm the user is able to apply his Intelligence Bonus to all damage rolled.

If going for the smart person using the guns, a bab is totaly inappropriate for such a feat but heck, throw it in there!

Well, I like using a stat or BAB requirement anyway. I figure no one would take it unless they had a decent Int to begin with.

[Darth Vader]Nooooooooo![/Darth Vader]

Aka "Doooon't Waaant!" (See Backstroke of the West.)

Strong Shot
Prerequisites: Str 15, BAB +6, Precise Shot, Point Blank Shot

By using the massive power of your mighty thews, when you prepare to shoot, you slam the gun down into place and fire. The resulting jarring impact of your irresisitible force hurls the bullets out faster than ever!

When using a firearm the user is able to apply his Strength Bonus to all damage rolled.

Gangsta Shot
Prerequisites: Cha 15 or BAB +6, Precise Shot, Point Blank Shot

Holding the Gun Sideways, you're able to impress and awe with your hip ability to deal damage with the most dreaded of weapons and look cool doing it!

When using a firearm the user is able to apply his Charisma Bonus to all damage rolled.

I think the prerequisites should also require a Wisdom of 8 or less, and you suffer a -2 to attack due to the fact that firing a weapon in this manner is highly innacurate,

On a modern weapon, the weapon would jam on a roll of 1-2, and the character must make a Reflex Save DC: 10 to avoid taking one point of damage from being hit in the eye from the brass ejecting into his face instead of to the side where it is supposed to go. On a failed Reflex save, you must then make a Fortitude Save DC: 15 to avoid blindness for 1d3 rounds.

;)

One problem I have with introducing "tech-level-appropriate" guns into D&D is that, unlike in the real world, D&D guns have to compete with magic. Flint-lock pistols and the like would have so little impact on a D&D style high magic setting that there's no reason to bother introducing them.

In D&D, I think that in order for firearms to be a significant addition, you'd have to jump right to weapons of modern or sci-fi power levels. (Like Dragonstar, for example.) Of course, this radically changes the nature of combat.

Nah.

Guns can be fun in terms of visual cues and elements. Spellslinger was a decent d20 take from Fantasy Flight and played up many of the archetypes about the game.

If the Guns don't completely suck, have magical weapons, magical ammunition and don't require a ton of sacrifice for the person using them, they become a very easy signature weapon/move for that player.

What, no con-based shot, Joe?

Where is the love for the dwarven riflemen I ask you?

Enduring Shot
Prerequisites: Dwarf, Con 15, BAB +6, Precise Shot, Point Blank Shot

Your dwarven heritage serves you well! Your endurance is so great that it travels through the earth guiding the bullets to your targets weak and squishy parts.

When using a firearm the user is able to apply his Constitution Bonus to all damage rolled.
