Are there any threads dealing with the law/chaos equivalents of the half-celestial and half-fiend? Or even better, any published material? Thanks.

The Monster Manual II has a pair of Planetouched races that are the law/chaos equivalent of the aasimar and tiefling (The chaos one is called a chaond and looks like it has slaadi blood, the law one I can't remember). Not quite what you're asking for, but possibly a start.

It really wouldn't be that hard to create a half-outsider template based on the law and chaos dimensions (half-slaad and half-modron?). Just use the existing half-celestial/fiend template and modify it to the appropriate alignment (replace detect evil with detect chaos, dictum instead of unholy word, etc).

Dragon 297 included law and chaos genasi. The axani and the cansin, I believe. Like most planetouched races, they have a +1 level adjustment for a few ok abilities, making them generally underpowered IMHO.

The Manual of the Planes has axiomatic and anarchic templates, which are roughly similar to the celestial and fiendish templates. Probably not quite what you're looking for, though.

Yeah, I have that. Axiomatic is about the most flavourless +4 level adjustment you will ever see, hehehe...

Making templates based on half-fiend, half-celestial is far from an exact science, seeing as they have some abilities that don't match up or don't follow the same pattern.
