Half-Dragon Locathah CR?

Locathah have a CR of 1/2. The half-dragon adds 3 to that. CR 3 or 4?

Okay, now what if you took away the element immunity, took away the breath weapon and added some minor earth-oriented powers (much like a half-celestial in orientation)?

Well, the minimum for the template is 3, but I'd go with 4 and treat a 1-HD half dragon basically as an intelligent walking breath trap that does an average of 27 points of damage unless you disable kill it first.

Without a breath weapon and with minor powers, probably 2. However, look at the earth mephit. Change it's physical description and treat its breath weapon like a magical ability with the same effect and damage, and you have something very similar already statted up for you at CR 3.

Hey, that earth mephit idea is a really great one. I've never used mephits before and didn't think I ever would. All I'll have to do is just tweak them slightly to change them to earth dragon-touched locathah.
