That's too bad. Interesting, though - I've sent a few letters to Sean Reynolds, and he's always answered (often quite promptly).
 



My big problem with the template is that it should have a variable ECL/CR modifier. Why? Well...

Is an Ogre with two heads as much deadlier than a one-headed Ogre as, say, a two-headed Basilisk is deadlier than it's sigle-headed brethren? What about a two-headed Dragon?

Creatures with breath or gaze attacks increase in challenge much more than melee types.

It's a mistake - I added the template without remembering that the
monsters were using one-size-larger weapons two-handed, which would need
to change if it were using two one-handed weapons. I have corrected the
HTML and Word files, and made a special note in the Attacks line of the
template so other people remember to check for that, too.

Please inform the folks on the message board, and feel free to quote me
exactly. Also, let them know that in response to another person's series
of questions, there will probably be an update of the monster tonight
with some clarifications.
