Pathfinder 1E Halfling/Rogue question?

I'm attempting to "guest" DM for a few sessions at our local D&D group.

One of our players is using a Halfling/Rogue. On his turn he moved 6 squares.

He has no extra feats that give him extra movement. According to the core
book rules, Halfings have a base speed of 4 squares.

When I asked him about it, he said it had come up earlier and another player
told him he had a speed of 6.

So is there something that I'm missing that's giving him the extra 2 squares?

He's using Hero Lab and I looked at the file - I can't see anything that adds
to speed.

Thanks.

Chances are the person he asked didn't realize he was a halfling, or that he had a 20ft. speed. Maybe somebody thought he had Boots of Striding and Springing. Sounds to me like a simple mistake.

Halfling, without anything special to boost their speed, have speed 20 (4 squares) not speed 30 (6 squares). Rogues don't increase speed and aren't part of the equation. There are a number of ways to increase the speed though, but based on what you've said so far, I suspect a mistake on how fast the character should move.

From the SRD:

•Fleet of Foot Some halflings are quicker than their kin but less cautious. Halflings with this racial trait move at normal speed and have a base speed of 30 feet. This racial trait replaces slow speed and sure-footed.

This is a halfling alternate racial trait (a damn good one at that), he might have taken it.
