Still, though, I'd like to give her a good slap and see if it drives her even more insane. Ah well, this is far too entertaining as it is, best not to give me options of slapping/smacking/punching random characters.

You can stab her, but I think she ducks it or karate-chops you. You can kiss people too, such as Desdemona

By the time I discovered I needed a bat, I'd completely forgotten there were bats on the balcony. I checked the tops of towers and staircases etc... drove me nuts. I had to use a hint to discover something I'd seen right back at the start of the game... gah!
